<B> Communicate frequently. </B>Call, write, or e-mail the teacher often. Let your child deliver the written notes or see you sending the e-mail from the computer, so he knows youre in touch.<BR>
<B>Present a united front.</B> Whenever possible, support the teachers policies. If you have concerns, talk privately with the teacher. Try to speak positively about school-related situations in front of your child.<BR>
<B>Show appreciation for teachers.</B> Talk about what your child has learned this year from her teacher. Maybe she learned some interesting facts about another country or how to multiply. <BR>
